Hoarding
Overview
Hi-Rise builds hoarding perimeters around construction sites across Winnipeg and Manitoba. They separate active work from the public and protect against falling debris and weather. Manitoba winters make this more than a fencing decision. Insulated hoarding retains heat so crews can keep working through cold conditions instead of losing the season to it. Fire-rated options are available where the site calls for them.

Good to know
Winnipeg winters are the real reason hoarding matters more here than in a lot of markets. Uninsulated hoarding just marks a perimeter. Insulated hoarding holds enough heat that concrete can cure, finishing work can continue, and a crew can keep working through conditions that would otherwise shut a site down. We spec the material to the season and the site — not the same setup year round.
Common questions
Before you call.
What is construction hoarding?
Hoarding is the temporary enclosure built around a construction site or work area. It keeps the public away from active work, contains falling debris, and, when insulated, holds heat so work can continue in cold weather.
Why use insulated hoarding in Winnipeg?
Manitoba winters can stop concrete from curing and shut down finishing work. Insulated hoarding holds enough heat to keep that work moving, so a project does not lose weeks to the cold.
Do you build fire rated hoarding?
Yes. Fire rated hoarding is available where the site, the building owner, or the project specification requires it. We spec the material to the site during the quote.
Can Hi-Rise handle the scaffolding and the hoarding on the same job?
Yes. We build scaffolding and hoarding as one contractor, so access and protection are planned together instead of coordinated between two subcontractors.
Do you build hoarding outside Winnipeg?
Yes. We build hoarding for commercial and industrial sites across Manitoba.
How do I get a hoarding quote?
Contact our office at 441 Jarvis Ave with the site address, the length of the perimeter or area to enclose, and whether the work runs through winter. We spec insulation and fire rating from there.
