Scaffold frames and shoring posts organized in an equipment yard

Rentals

Overview

Hi-Rise rents scaffolding and site equipment to contractors who have their own crew and just need the material. Frame scaffold, system scaffold, shoring posts and beams, and debris netting are all available on their own. Delivered to site and picked up when the job's done. If you'd rather our crew handle setup and teardown, that's a separate service — rentals here are equipment only.

Good to know

Renting equipment is different from hiring us to build it. If your own crew does the install, this is the page — scaffolding, shoring, and netting go out on rental with delivery to site. If you'd rather not tie up your people with setup and teardown, our professional installation service covers that. Same equipment, our crew does the labor. Either way, everything that leaves the yard is inspected before it goes out.

Common questions

Before you call.

Can I pick up rental equipment myself?

Yes. Equipment pickup is at our yard, 7 Powers St in Winnipeg. The yard is a working site, so PPE is required and it is not open for walk in visits. Quotes, payments, and invoicing are handled at our office, 441 Jarvis Ave.

Do you deliver scaffolding outside Winnipeg?

Yes. We deliver rental scaffolding and pick it up again across Manitoba, so a job outside the city does not mean hauling equipment yourself.

Should I rent scaffolding or have your crew install it?

Rent it if your own crew is trained to erect and inspect scaffold. If not, or if your people are needed elsewhere, our professional installation service uses the same equipment with a COR certified Hi-Rise crew doing the setup and teardown.

Do you rent garbage chutes and mast climbers?

Yes. Garbage chutes and chute sections go out alongside scaffolding rentals, and mast climbers are available for taller façade work where a fixed scaffold is not the best fit.

Is rental equipment inspected?

Yes. Every piece that leaves the yard is inspected before it goes out, so your crew starts the job on sound equipment.

Do you also handle site protection?

Yes. If the site needs a perimeter or winter protection, we build insulated and fire rated construction hoarding as well, so access and protection come from one contractor.
